The pub’s a 5-minute walk away and serves food most evenings There are buses to both Barrow and Ulverston and beyond at the end of the road. Ulverston is famous for its many festivals which attract lots of tourists. Barrow is only a 10-minute drive away for shops or if you want to go a little further Walney nature reserves are lovely.

The cottage has brand new furniture, fixtures and fittings including a jacuzzi spa bath. Free parking although no car is required! All guests have unlimited free access to the owner's Health Club and spa located close by in Toutbeck Bridge, just a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk away.

Located just off the main street of Haverigg its the perfect location to explore the beach just around the corner (2min walk) Shop, Chippy and Pub 1 minute walk away. Aqua park and Nature reserve is also close by. We are also a good base for exploring the lake district with Coniston only being a 35min drive. Scafell Pike is close by too with a 45min drive.

Set in the small peaceful village of Storth (AONB) by the tidal river Kent Estuary, on the edge of the Lake District National Park. The Cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside and woodlands or just walk a few hundred yards out of the door and you can walk for miles along the beach.
