SUGARBIRD HOUSE EDENVELDT FARM

I have decided to rent out my personal farm house\ guest house to happy road trippers seeking solitude and a peaceful surrounding. The house is within a valley surrounded by 48 hectares of open land,beautiful mountain (cederberg) backdrops and a river with three natural swimming areas within walking distance of the guest house and the place include a 25m lap pool right in front of the veranda! Oh and plenty of clean breathable air :). There is one full sized bed so its best suited for couples.

The house in Lalaland

You’ll love my place because it is on top of a mountain where you are surrounded by fruit orchids and mountains. Also, loadshedding does not affect us as we are on solar. We are only 160km from Cape town. We live right next door but do not mind a good party, all within limits of course! The dam is a short walk away where you are welcome to use the two paddle boards and canoe. The house can keep you entertained with pool table, boardgames, books, WIFI, ping pong table and Soundsystem.

Secluded Off-Grid Mountain Cottage

Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a 'donkey' water heater and solar power.

New Holme - Tented Camp

The tent sleeps 4 guests in 2 separate tent compartments. Fully carpeted, it has a double bed in one compartment and 2 single beds in the other. The ablution facilities are 30 meters away. It is pitched in the New Holme Guest House garden . There is a common lounge, dining room, bar area and a pool in the peaceful garden. Meals are available: Dinner @R270 pp – 3 course home-style meal Breakfast @R125 – available from 7:45 Activities are available as described in "other details to note"

The Villa is luxurious with a typical West Coast layback feel. Best of all is the heated pool. Sit back relax and sip on a G&T, close to the ocean and great views. Best location, 30m to the beach. Couples and families with kids will love it. Beautiful views from all rooms where you can laze all day staring at passing by whales or boats.
