Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Unser kleines Gästehaus bietet die schönste Aussicht direkt aus dem Küchen- und Schlafzimmerfenster. Das ist es der perfekte Ort, um die Aurora zu sehen und einen entspannenden privaten Urlaub in der Arktis zu genießen. Wir wohnen mit unserem 6-jährigen Sohn und Katze nebenan. Wir sind ab ca. 16:30 Uhr und am Wochenende zu Hause. Dåfjord Lodge & Ocean sauna

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

Idyllic cabin in the Lyngen Alps

Lyngen is one of the world's most beautiful and undisturbed Arctic regions. From this exclusive cabin you can enjoy the northern lights in the winter and the midnight sun in the summer. The cabin is by itself, with a spectacular view. You can hear and see the ocean from the terrace. You need to walk up 140 stairs to the cabin, or walk the access road. You can be a bit shocked by the steepness, but it's worth it :) You can not drive up so you have to be a bit sporty to rent this place.
