Yurt With a View

The Yurt is an extraordinary refuge from the frenzy of the city. Securely set high (7600ft) among mountains, the views stretch out in all directions backing up to the Cibola National Forest. Elk, deer, coyotes, and many birds share their land with us. The dark night sky is breathtaking. The yurt is off-the-grid lit by soft oil lamps after sunset. We also laid a seven-circuit labyrinth for meditative walking. A hot tub is available up at the house. You are welcome to this place of peace.

Quiet, cozy cottage in the beautiful Mimbres Valley, located between City of Rocks State Park and Lake Roberts. Sleeps three, or couple with two small children (1 double bed, 1 single). Pet friendly, with large shaded enclosure. Hummingbird haven from April to October. Patio with charcoal grill and a garden for seasonal picking. Fresh eggs from my chickens in the fridge in season. The bedroom features a dual-adjustable King-Size mattress, fitted with Giza Dreams sheets, and a comfortable sleeper sofa in the common area. "City" water, dishwasher, washer & dryer, 700 Sq. The Casita offers a private courtyard and entrance, an outdoor pool (May 15 to October 15), and an on- demand hot tub (year-round, no jets).
