The blue bus is a renovated 1970s era Bluebird school bus. The surrounding windows provide ample light and a panoramic forest view. The blue bus is tucked in a private corner of woods, about 250 meters from the main house and parking area. Heat for the bus is generated by woodfire. Firewood is provided but guest is in charge of maintaining fire. Knowledge of operating a woodstove is required. THE BUS IS NOT INSULATED. We are offering a beautiful, COMFORTABLE, option to camping. Our off grid tent comes with all the comforts of home including a wood stove and reading nook! It is nestled into a hemlock grove overlooking the active beaver pond. Walking trails and local activities at a stones throw. If you have a small boat or kayaks- BRING them! We have space in the yard and lots of local places to send you to get good use out of them. Please do not use on our pond. We have a boat available for use.
