Permanently Anchored in the Knysna Lagoon, it’s a two minute dinghy ride from the Knysna Waterfront and we’ll give you lessons to get you going on the water. Myrtle is one of the original Knysna houseboats and has a lovely wood finish inside. With its two decks, it’s perfect for lazy days floating on the lagoon. Welcome to our cozy three-bedroom cottage located on Leisure Isle. Recently renovated and equipped for your next family stay with restored wooden floors, lagoon views and even a Sunsynk solar back-up. Being on Leisure Island, we have kayaks, bicycles & SUP’s available to all our guests. The cottage has a Smart TV with Netflix, Spotify and uncapped Wi-Fi. Winter visitors enjoy a wood-burning fireplace and electric blankets on the beds too.

Guests will enjoy sleeping on beautiful queen slay bed with Egyptian cotton bedding, and a single bed. Kitchen has gas hob and microwave. Lots of private parking and close to town and eating spots. Camp cot available. Goose cottage is off the grid, so during loadshedding we are fully functional.

The Cabin is ideally located and a 10-15 minute drive to Knysna, as well as the gorgeous Buffalo Bay Beach and a number of forest walks.

Situated half way between Knysna and Plettenberg bay we are in a green belt, within the indigenous forest there is cycling and hiking trails. The beaches and all amenities are within a 20 min drive. This farm grows organic vegetables and is transitioning to an off the grid lifestyle.
