This cozy one bedroom retreat is ideally located for walking to downtown or a stroll into Acadia. Secluded off of a residential street and with off street parking, the house has a private courtyard for you to enjoy, a full kitchen, washer/dryer and AC/heat. The park's loop road with access to Sand Beach, Ocean Drive, Champlain mountain and a huge network of trails are just down the street while restaurants, the village green, shops, shore path and an active waterfront are a 15 min. walk away.

The Arthaus, an eclectic retreat for two

Located on Mount Desert Islands, "Quietside". The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.

This 3 bedroom 3.5 bath home (each bedroom with its own full bathroom) is situated in a private, wooded setting on the edge of Southwest Harbor's bustling village. All on one level, it offers sophisticated yet comfortable furnishings in an open floor plan design. Each bedroom has a full bath. It’s close to several Acadia National Park access points (Long Pond and Echo Lake are both within a 5 minute drive). This home offers extra wide doorways accomodating those with mobility issues.

Our beachfront home is good for families and pets, with open plan, private bedrooms and an enclosed deck. The beach is perfect for cookouts, walking and exploring. We are nestled down a long gravel drive with quiet neighbors. The main floor bedroom (queen bed) accesses a screened sitting area. The downstairs bedroom (walkout basement) has twin beds and futon chair (single). We are 5 miles from the village, 2.5 miles from Acadia Visitor Center, and .5 miles from an Explorer stop.

This beautiful, light-filled cottage on waterfront property on the western side of Mount Desert Island has picturesque views of the Mount Desert Narrows and access to a private pebble beach. The house is on very secluded wooded property for a nice private getaway. All you will hear are the sounds of birds and waves lapping up on the beach.
