Double back bedroom in a homely oasis close to Manchester's centre. The house is full of plants, maps & books, plus a woodburner, 2 cats... & 1 friendly human. It's in a diverse inner-city neighbourhood just 2 miles from the city centre & close to frequent buses into town (15mins) & to airport. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen for simple meals and a help-yourself breakfast is included. My cats have big, friendly personalities. If you're not a cat fan, this may not be the place for you!

Large Bedroom in a victorian terrace house in leafy Whalley Range right on the border with Chorlton. 2 miles out of the centre of the city in a thriving, multicultural neighbourhood. Great transport links to the centre of the city, universities, airport and Media City. Tram and bus stops a short walk away, as are a great bars, restaurants, coffee shops and anything else you might need. In keeping with the neighbourhood we welcome guests from every race, religion, gender identity and sexuality.

Room fully furnished: double bed, wardrobe, desk and chairs. Large window onto a quiet back garden. Bathroom and living space are shared. (Toilets and bathroom are separated). Room also available as a regular Monday to Friday rental for Manchester commuters. You have exclusive access to the flat but lounge area is owner's "lived in" space so expect books etc. Microwave, but no use of cooker due to previous incidents (insurance demand.) Double bedroom with access to your own bathroom. Separate sofabed in upstairs lounge if needed. Parking space available in underground car park but YOU NEED TO REQUEST THIS IN ADVANCE. Vehicles left at owners' risk.
