The Quart

Weston sub Edge is a small village close to the start of the Cotswold Way, 20 minutes from the home of Shakespeare at Stratford Upon Avon, two miles from Chipping Campden and its Music and Literature Festivals, Broadway, Longborough Opera, Daylesford, and National Trust properties. We are perfectly located for walking and exploring. Do bring your dog but please don't leave them on their own in The Quart. Transport is essential as we are very rural and taxis and buses aren't always available.

Welcome to The Old Bottle Store at The Golden Ball Inn, in Lower Swell, a charming village in the heart of the Cotswold's, just a stones throw away from Stow-On-The-Wold. Built in the 17th Century it has been a successful country pub serving home-cooked food and local ales for over 100 years.

Relaxing retreat on the edge of the Cotswolds

The house is situated 10 minutes away from Moreton In Marsh, a beautiful cotswolds town with great train links to London, as well as being close to Stratford-Upon-Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace). The village has a great pub which is 1/2 a mile down a single track lane from the studio. Guests will be welcomed by either myself, Jo or Ken. Located on the main road into Moreton-in-Marsh, the annexe is just a 2 to 3 mins walk to the town's pubs, coffee shops and restaurants.
