Halfway between the Monterey Peninsula and Santa Cruz, the Dunes Colony is a precious secret awaiting discovery by those lucky enough to experience raw, unfiltered beauty on the sandy shores surrounding Monterey Bay. “Sea Bird” is a newly renovated, single-level condominium where our guests can live luxuriously while listening as the Pacific Ocean sighs eternally just outside, its grandeur framed by wall-length windows in the main living area.

A beautifully secluded area (40+ acres) surrounded by natural beauty with lovely views of Elkhorn Slough and the Pacific Ocean, away from the maddening crowd. Yet, accessible to Carmel / Pebble Beach / Santa Cruz. A variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, bicycling, kayaking, golfing and whale watching. A full breakfast is served daily. It should also be noted it is a gated property and the home is accessed through a dirt / gravel private country lane which is 0.75 mile from the gate.

Set on the site of an old town from the 1880's, now a working dairy farm, the "Telegraph Office" is a beautiful and comfortable escape to the charm and serenity of the country. The farm offers a unique opportunity to see where the best milk and dairy products are made. The farm enjoys some of the best sunshine in California, best night sky, mountain views, sunrises and sunsets. Relax, commune with the animals, birdwatch, hike, sit by a campfire, or whatever suits you.

Shared bath. Not suitable for children or pets. 1 person only THIS ROOM IS LOCATED ON THE SECOND FLOOR (STAIRS). Self check in. We are offering a light take away snack of coffee/tea, fruit, yogurt, breakfast bars to get your day started. Guest fridge, kettle and microwave are available for use in the back porch. The main kitchen is closed to guests. We do live here so some family noise/scents around meal times to be expected. Small animals live on property.
