Spend time in the garden listening to bird song and the gentle babbling of the stream or step out the gate to explore Cleddon Falls and beautiful view points along the Wye Valley walk. The medieval village of Trellech and Tintern Abbey are also within easy reach off or on road by foot, bike or car.

It is an ideal base for a week's exploration of South Wales, or a long weekend away if visiting Usk or it's surroundings. This is Sklylark’s last year! The hut is super cosy, but very well equipped and spacious inside (think tardis!). Guests say it is very comfortable, and has everything you need and it is all fully plumbed in.. With stunning views of the Welsh Black Mountains, it sits nestled in a calming wildflower meadow with lots of wildlife - you might wake to see deer passing your window. Sadly, not suitable for dogs, young children or infants.
