The one bedroom, one bath unit was recently remodeled (in 2017) and includes all new kitchen, bathroom, full size laundry and air conditioning. The large 400 square foot private deck has new outdoor furniture with views of Mission Bay and gorgeous sunsets year round. Enjoy a show on the 50" 4K LG smart TV in the living room which offers Netflix, Amazon Video, and major network TV stations. Cook a delicious meal in the kitchenette complete with a mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, electric stove top, coffeemaker, and more. If you plan to head to the beach, the storage ottoman is secretly a "beach box" containing a couple of folding chairs, beach toys, towels and a small cooler. The unit is stocked with coffee, shampoo, conditioner, laundry supplies, iron, and more. Filtered water is provided via a faucet on the kitchen sink. Easy check-in via a numeric keypad on the front door with the code provided prior to arrival. Plenty of street parking is available. We love meeting new people and live next door in the main house so we are available most anytime. We are both from San Diego and still love to explore the latest new spots so we are happy to give recommendations. Bay Park is a great central neighborhood originally built in the early 1940s. It was recently voted the most livable neighborhood in a recent San Diego poll. Check out the restaurants on Morena Boulevard, which are just a few minutes' walk away or explore all of the major attractions of San Diego easily. The house has easy access to I-5 and is only 10-15 mins from downtown, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and the airport. The private guest house is located across from Mission Bay and within walking distance to bay, market, restaurants and coffee shops. Uber/Lyft is $8 to $14 to most of San Diego's main attractions. There is a bit of white noise from the highway down the hill near Mission Bay when out on the deck but nothing too bad, just worthy of mention. The unit has double paned vinyl windows so it's quiet indoors.

A small front yard and large back yard provide multiple places to relax outdoors. The kitchen is fully outfitted for cooking and there's a BBQ grill outside. The house is located in Ocean Beach, about 10 minutes' drive to the airport and 15-20 minutes' walk to the beach, including several bars, breweries and restaurants. Your view of the sunset comes from the pocket park next door, perfect for listening to waves. Your suite has an outdoor patio with dining table and chairs. We are on a popular surfing spot. Go down to the tide pools below, bike rental nearby. Restaurants, coffee shops 3 minutes away & night life on Garnet is wild. Store your surfboard on the patio. Occasionally from 10.30am to 3pm there's noisy work on the house for which we will agree on a discount. Sometimes no noise at all.

Bus lines are 5 blocks. We are on a quiet 2 block long street with bikes, beach chairs, body boards, beach toys and beach towels for your use.
