Tranquil & Lovely Cottage in Minstead, New Forest.

Our cottage is set in a peaceful corner of the village of Minstead, in the heart of the New Forest. It is a Victorian farmhouse overlooking fields with some beautiful original features and has been in our family for over 60 years. It comfortably sleeps up to 6 people with a large mature garden, perfect for families, friends or even couples. It's so tranquil here, hardly a car goes by, but you will see ponies, donkeys and cows roaming up the lane while the wild forest itself is 10 mins walk away.

Walking and cycle routes (and a popular pub) can be reached in moments, local amenities are within walking distance in the forest’s capital Lyndhurst and sandy beaches are a short drive away. Private parking is available.

With stunning views and direct access to the forest, it’s the perfect place to relax, walk and enjoy the great outdoors. Not forgetting our resident, new forest pony, Artex, who is always happy to welcome new guests. Acres down is a known area for birdwatching and wildlife.

Welcome to our semi off grid sustainable home where you will enjoy our shepherd's hut and the peace and tranquillity it provides. Amongst our newly planted saplings in our paddock you will have the wildlife and our 2 ponies for company. A warm, cosy, quiet, safe, space...read our reviews!!!! Sometimes surrounding yourself in nature is just what you need to give you balance. We are currently making a wildlife pond and hope this will enhance your visit. We look forward to welcoming you.

New forest shepherds hut, idyllic woodland retreat

This is a custom built shepherds hut in our secluded private woodland with direct access on to the open forest. It can be warm and cosy with a log fire in the woodburner, or open the stable door to let the outside in. Alternatively sit outside on the wooden decking with a fire pit in the evenings. There is a 'camp kitchen' with a gas barbecue, fridge, butler sink and covered seating area, or walk to one of our local pubs for lunch or supper. There is an outside tap and electricity on site.

The Lodge at Bramble Hill, Bramshaw has been modernised to an exacting standard with luxury fittings. Three bedrooms on the ground floor, one with ensuite, and a twin room upstairs. One of the ground floor rooms can be configured as a king or two singles. Cosy sitting room with wood burner, conservatory and games room. Beautiful, large Shepherd's Hut (20' x 12') in your own peaceful, private space between the garden & the fields - perfect to explore the New Forest. Bring your walking shoes, bikes & horses. Beautiful place for artists, yoga and meditation. There's a stream for you to go and sit by and you can often see deer in the fields next to you. Sit by the firepit and listen to the owls. More ponies, cattle, donkeys wander down the lane past the house than cars. An idyllic escape.
