The guest house is completely separate and private, from our home, which is 50 feet away, and it was newly built in 2022.

The Lake House is ideally situated as it is both remote, but also conveniently located only a 5 minute drive off Hwy 11, with access to Hope's grocery store and LCBO at the exit. In the northern part of Muskoka sits this tiny cabin paradise. This 325 square foot cabin was originally built as a hunt camp in 1955 and has been newly renovated to be modern and comfortable while still maintaining its vintage rustic charm. Come and unplug in this quiet simple space only 5 minutes from Ilfracombe beach. Many folk singer/songwriters have recorded in this cabin over the past few years and it is now being opened up as a quiet getaway.
