Located on 42 acres, this custom-built cabin has all the ammenities of home, while offering access to hiking trails, ATV & biking trails, water fallls, fishing lakes, beaches & all that the lakeshore has to offer. Guest can explore Grand Island or take a sunset cruise out of Munising Bay, 5 miles west of the cabin.

The recently updated one bedroom cottage features a beautiful living area with comfortable sofa sleeper, private queen bedroom, and open layout kitchen and dining. The stone paved patio opens up to the vast green lawn that walks to clean and serene Lake Nowland. A sandy beach is steps away, great for swimming and fun for all ages. Here you're just a 10 minute drive to the heart of downtown Charlevoix.

Originally built in 1890 and moved to its location now in 1920. The original cabin serves as the living room now. The house has been completely remodeled and updated on inside. New furniture, cabinets, beds, paint, floors and amenities. All new! Just a few minutes from the secluded shores on Lake Michigan and Gulliver Lake. 15 minutes away from historic Manistique. And only about an hour from Mackinac Island. Same for Pictured Rocks. Sightseeing or just relaxing under the stars, it's all here.

Maple Leaf Cottage - a stay for all seasons

3 - 1/2 miles North of US-2 Perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

The Husky Hut-Pet Friendly, Remote, Private.

The Husky Hut is an adorable tiny home located on 10 private acres. It’s located on a well maintained gravel road with plenty of parking. This is perfect if you are looking to “camp” without the hassle of a tent and other equipment. It’s extremely private; there is no light pollution and the stars are magnificent. The cabin sleeps two guests. This is truly off-grid; no power or running water. There is a sled dog kennel nearby so expect to hear the “neighbors” during feeding time!

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

For the summertime getaway we are minutes away from 3 inland lakes with many trails to hike your worries away. Centrally located making many highlights only an hour away. Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, Crisp Point Lighthouse and many more. We use only natural disinfectant cleaners and fragrance and dye free laundry detergents.
