Small cabin in the woods with many seasonal uses. There is over 1000 adjoining acres of mixed forest & fields. Over 300 acres of privately owned land by the host plus over 700 acres of attached public crown lots accessible through private holdings, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts/nature lovers, as a launch pad into Algonquin Park, or as a quite retreat into the forest. Winter Activities and Uses Include: snowmobiling, ice fishing at a large selection of local lakes, snow shoeing etc.

Cabin #6 Sunset Serenade

This charming rustic 2 bedroom cabin is on the shores of Lake Cecebe! It has one double bed and a set of bunk beds. A fitted sheet is on the beds (please bring bedding, pillows and towels from home). The common room has simple cooking facilities needed to prepare most meals. Outside there is a private dock and fire pit. Facing West towards the historic lighthouse, this cabin is aptly named “Sunset Serenade”. Please read the entire profile below. A map is included for self-check-in.

This unique place has a style all its own. An upside-down architect-designed cabin in the woods; the bedroom and full bathroom are on the 1st floor and the kitchen and living area are on the 2nd, and in between is a 14ft high bumped-out daybed area for lounging. Tastefully and richly decorated with all the mod-cons, and plenty of windows for natural light. There’s a wood-burning stove in bedroom. It’s very private, on 100 acres, with shared trails thru out. Free Wifi No A/C
