Charming 17th Century Cottage on River SevernOur house overlooks the River Severn and is a stone's throw from the Severn Bridge. Built in the 17th century, originally as two cottages, the space has plenty of character and is completely private with access to the garden and outdoor seating areas with stunning views across the estuary. It has recently undergone total refurbishment and has underfloor heating throughout. The area regularly attracts bird spotters, fossil hunting enthusiasts and visitors to the old car ferry site.
The Garden RoomSurrounded by beautiful countryside the Garden Room was converted in 2017 into a cosy, away from it all, self-contained annex. We live next to the property separated by a patio. There is an undercover seating area with a small garden in front. There are three public footpaths crossing the property which enables you to reach the banks of the River Severn without using the road and is also situated on the Gloucester to Bristol National Cycle Route number 41.
