Although there isn't much room to roam on the property itself, there is access to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail only a short drive North. The cabin is just off the highway in farm country, and is described as peaceful with a cozy interior. You may however hear some road noise if you are relaxing outside. The small town of Barryton is located a mile to the South

Our cottage is a 1200sqft home fully renovated in 2018 sitting on over 300ft of lakefront! Includes private dock and sandy beach a short walk away with a fire pit, 4 kayaks and paddle board. The lake offers a quiet "no-wake" time until 11am. Multiple decks to enjoy sun or shade. Enjoy great local golf, restaurants and casinos. Or sit on the sandy beach a short walk away and watch bald eagles, blue herons, ducks and osprey. Fish, ski, paddle or relax. Must be 25 years old or older to book.

Welcome to Hersey Hideaway, the perfect place to relax on the Muskegon River! Get on the river, soak in the luxurious hot tub, stargaze, or enjoy evenings by the fire. In the summer, access a detached bunkhouse, blackstone grill, and plenty of outdoor seating! Explore biking and hiking the White Pine Trail or enjoy ORV trails. Big Rapids is a 25 min drive for restaurants, groceries, & breweries. Plenty of amazing day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, Caberfae, and Lake Michigan!

Relax at our Lakehouse with a view of Chippewa Lake offering 790 acres of all sports waterway known for its fishing and spectacular sunsets. Lake access is available for entry to the lake for water activities. We are located 7.5 miles from Haymarsh State Game Area and 12.5 miles from Big Rapid where you can attend a Ferris game or dine in one of the many local restaurants. ATV and UTV riding is legal on all non M roads with your ORV sticker to explore the area or visit the local winery.

During the summer there is corn hole and ladder ball game available to use outdoors. The rooster saloon is a 5 min drive with amazing chicken wings! Pontoon Boat rental available for the day! Lakefront Strawberry Haus has three bedrooms to sleep 10-12, including 2 on a futon and 2 on a sofa bed, providing the ultimate family getaway. The cozy interior provides a balance of comfort and amenities for endless entertainment! The covered deck and hot tub provide direct, protected access to the lakeside dock, equipped with kayaks and a paddle boat. The game room includes amenities such as a 420 game video console, shuffleboard/bowling table, toys, books, board and card games

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The cottage sits off the lake, just a short stroll down the driveway to the water. The cottage sits on three lots with a nice size yard for kids to play and plenty of parking. The cottage has comfortable sized rooms, inside & outside eating area, wifi, and cable. Three mini splits heat and cool the cottage. There are several golfcourses and wineries close by. The cottage has its own private dock and swimming area.

A day of adventure awaits- Kayaking, boating and fishing!! Enjoy a campfire or relax in the hammock. If you are a hunter state hunting land surrounds you . We do not rent out the pontoon but the boat launch is a 1/2 mile from the cottage.
