Also neighbouring Odcombe is the lovely village of Montacute which boasts the beautiful National Trust owned Montacute House. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

Great local walks and fabulous local pubs within walking distance. A fabulous place to break a journey if you're travelling from London to Cornwall as we are pretty much half way. However, be warned, those that have done this so far, always wish they were staying for longer, and sometimes they do!
