You are now on 1st Street, smack-dab in the center of Downtown Dover – an aged and gorgeous mill town and colonial seaport tucked between two New Hampshire hot spots, Durham and Portsmouth. On 1st Street, you are one block from the Dover Train Station and a glance away from the popular Riverwalk along the Cocheco River. Step right outside your door into the bustling streets of “the fastest growing city in New Hampshire” (US Census) – marked by shops, restaurants, bars, breweries, and more.

This is a private guest suite, attached to our home, with its own private entrance. There is no common area to the main home. It features a queen bed in a separate nook, a living area with a pull out sofa bed, and private bathroom with shower. Included is a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee nook. The total room size is approximately 320 sq ft. Please note guests are required to climb 19 steps from driveway to our guest suite. Please consider your own abilities when booking.

Welcome to our home! We live in a charming neighborhood just next to Dover's historic district. We're walking distance to the elementary school, library, children's museum and downtown Dover. We're also right near the highway - close enough that you can easily get to UNH or elsewhere, but far enough that you won't hear it. The guest suite has a private access, and all the amenities for a short or long-term stay, including a fully functional and well stocked kitchen and full bath.

The Barn on Broadway: A 1900's reno was brought back to life in 2025. This fresh space balances history with beautiful new finishes. It's a stand alone property with an open concept- loft-style one bedroom king, full kitchen, 3/4 bath and a cozy back patio. The space sits next to Body Mechanix Massage (don't forget to book your services ahead of time!) and is within walking distance to historic downtown Dover, just a short drive to many seacoast beaches and minutes from UNH.

Our home is tucked away off of Washington Street and feels secluded though we are walking distance to downtown Dover. Our home was built as a warehouse 100 years ago and was converted to a residence in 2009. The apartment has a separate entrance from the rest of the house and has a private deck. The space is light and airy, both rustic and contemporary, with old floors and exposed rafters. We are a short walk to restaurants and bars, and the train to Boston or Portland, Maine.

You can see a peek of Spruce Creek (a tidal inlet) from the bedroom window and deck. The space has been designed to offer a relaxed, comfortable get away experience. Our home is located in a quiet neighborhood which loops around Spruce Creek.

"Oyster River Flat" walk to food truck park & town

Enjoy our cozy guest flat on the same 1-acre property as our 1917 home, but with its own entrance, parking, full kitchen and bath. Walking distance to downtown Durham, the Oyster River, and Great Bay, with many hiking trails a short drive away. Take a walk to Tideline Public House (food truck park). This efficient space is for 1-2 people, with one queen bed available.

Newly remodeled downstairs unit in a beautiful historic home on a quiet street. Set on a spacious wooded lot this home is just minutes to UNH. Portsmouth, Dover and Southern Maine are all within reasonable driving distance, and the Amtrak Station in Durham will take you to Boston or Portland.
