Kingfisher Lodge on Coochie (Pet friendly)

Welcome to Kingfisher Lodge on Coochie :) If you are after a place to unwind, relax and touch base with nature, this is the holiday destination for you. Coochie is approximately 35 kms from Brisbane CBD and 1 km off the mainland from Victoria Point. Access via the passenger ferry or vehicular barge, $80 return. Coochie boasts 4 kms of white sandy beaches, perfect for swimming, beach walking, kayaking, boating and fishing. The Lodge is located on the Main Beach side, a 200m stroll to the beach.

Location, location, location high on the lighthouse hill! My Haven is an original beach cottage (circa 1947) that features spectacular dual views, over the headland and along Main Beach. It seems like we’re away from it all up here, yet it’s just a 5-minute walk to Main Beach, the Gorge Walk, Life Savers’ club and the shop precinct. There are no modern furnishings in MyHaven; it's all collected, pre-loved and eclectic to give you that yesteryear charm and an authentic island vibe experience.

The elevated position (entering from Pratt Court), provides unobstructed panoramic ocean views, spanning from Moreton Island to Cylinder Beach. Warragi unit two is set over three levels, with each of the three bedrooms having their own bathroom. The townhouse comfortably sleeps six, and a trundle bed will cater for a seventh guest. The suite includes a queen bed (only), sea views, a kitchen, bathroom and an outside patio overlooking the bay. There is aircon. No cleaning fee.
