Lightning Bug Lane in the Trees on the Lake

Imagine a luxury cabin in the trees, in a cove on Cross Lake - for a romantic enchanted forest vibe getaway. Watch the birds and squirrels on the back porch with morning coffee or evening cocktails. Catch lightning bugs at dusk. Take a kayak out to cross lake. Spend time in our upstairs reading loft with our very own “little library”. Stargaze through our telescope. Quiet but in city limits.Our house next door can be rented as well as separate listing. What a dreamy honeymoon spot or picture op❤️

“Serenity on Sibley” Guesthouse~Close to Downtown

Down the winding road, at the bottom of the wooded hill, “Serenity” awaits. This single-room guesthouse sits on the banks of Sibley Lake. Relax and take in the sunsets from the screened porch. Up to 4 guests with a queen-sized bed and a queen fold-out couch. It has a full bath with shower, a kitchenette with island and barstools. A paddleboat, kayaks and life vests are available for use during your stay. Hosts live up and across the drive from the Serenity Guesthouse Located @ 10 min from town.

Waterfront - The Red Camp at Lake Bistineau

Nestled on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, The Red Camp is ready to welcome you to lake views with Spanish moss draped cypress trees and amazing sunsets! Lake is now at full pool and ready for swimming, kayaking, and fishing through the end of July and a bit beyond! The annual drawdown starts usually in late July, so if you are reserving for fall or winter, please inquire as to the Lake level. This secluded 3-bedroom cabin has everything you need for your perfect Louisiana-getaway. No traffic, noise or people. Located on 220 acres adjacent to the Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, the property includes freshwater lakes, a beach, and multiple trails for a beautiful morning or evening walk. Guests have easy access to the BCNWR for deer, hog, etc. hunting, as well as canoes and kayaks. We have blueberries, whitetail deer and chickens supplying fresh eggs, when laying.

Iatt Lake Cabins and Kayaks House Boat

Houseboat on quiet and serene lake. No running water on boat but bathroom is close by. Pets are allowed for a $50 non-refundable fee. Pets must be kenneled if left inside alone, on a leash at all times when outside. and please pick up after your pets. Kayak, paddle boat and pirogue rentals including life jackets and paddles available. Kayak rental - $35/day each or $60/2 days each. Paddleboat, pirogue or tandem kayak rental - $45/day or $70/2 days.
