Let us welcome you to 100 Acre Wood, a historic farm and working cattle ranch. Owl's House is a private and stylish guest house nestled within the trees and garden and offers 180° views. Our farm store is stocked with our own TX Longhorn beef and pasture-raised chicken and eggs, plus curated with local products. Enjoy pastoral farm life and our private forest trails, or get out and play in the area's abundance of fine dining, wineries, seasonal attractions, outdoor activities, and entertainment.

Guesthouse Farm Stay

Come stay with us on our historic working farm! Relax on the back deck and enjoy views of our 12-acre property and peaceful pastures. For a more hands-on experience, join us for a tour to get a closer look at life on the farm. Established in 1739, our farm has a rich history in agriculture and livestock. The cozy studio-style cottage features an open living space with combined bedroom, living, and dining area, along with a kitchenette and bathroom with a shower for your comfort and convenience.

Great amenities in town including tennis, sailing, outdoor yoga, sunbathing, plus nice restaurants. Pedestrian and dog friendly town; you don't even need a car while here.

The Garden Loft - A Charming Choate Stay

The Sunshine House

Enjoy your stay and visit the Bayard Cutting Arboretum, SUSA Orlin & Cohen Sports Complex, Robert Moses Beach; centrally located between The Hamptons Vineyard Wine Tours & Manhattan. This unique home was originally built in 1921 and has since undergone renovations with additions added to the original structure, including the three bedroom / bath guest wing with a private entrance from the main house. Just 9 minutes from downtown Kent and close to the best of Litchfield County, our cottage sits on a serene 3.5 acre property that backs up to protected woodlands. We painstakingly brought the rustic space into the present, with a new kitchenette; bathroom with a massive, spa-like shower; new HVAC; and hotel-like accommodations. Close to Kent School, Canterbury, and great for a romantic getaway.

North Country Cottage

Located near Long Island's beautiful beaches, vineyards, and wedding venues, this cozy cottage in the woods provides a quiet and comfortable place to stay while visiting! A spacious patio extends the living area, adding space to enjoy the outdoors in front of the fire pit or outdoor dining table. This property is located behind the owners' home and uses a shared driveway. While the owner is close by to address any issues during your stay, your space allows for total privacy.

Tivoli Star Gazing Cabin

Down a long driveway, set amongst 100 year old trees and meadows, the cabin offers time in the quiet country though only minutes to the lively village of Tivoli. With a wrap around porch for morning coffee, fire fly viewing or star gazing. It has a soaking tub, with a hand held shower. The cabin is part of our family compound of a main house and a small garden hut. Each property has an independent outdoor space for relaxing and privacy.

Windy Top Cottage ~ A Romantic "European" Getaway

The Windy Top Cottage is an old stone building constructed in 1932 by H. L. Bitter, a wealthy Hartford businessman. This area of Granby was a favorite of the Hartford elite for a place to 'summer' in the early part of the 20th Century. The cottage was the quarters for the domestic staff while the family was in North Granby. With an elevation of 970, we offer clean, fresh country air!
