Rock Cottage, Highland Perthshire Rural Retreat

Our much loved holiday home on Loch Tay is set in Scotland's most spectacular scenery, sited on the Heart 200 Road Trip through Perthshire. We are lucky to have a private shore, where you can sit amidst the rocks and trees, make a campfire or paddle in the loch . Rock Cottage's lounge with log burning stove is an ideal place to return to after taking part in outdoor sporting activities. Our grounds offer play, picnic and water areas. It is a great place to read or relax and watch the wildlife.

The lodge is on an private estate in the quiet serenity of a Glen full of history and wildlife - perfect for solo travellers, couples, and small families. Whether you want to practice yoga, paint, or simply do nothing, this is the spot.

West Cottage is a typical Scottish country cottage among mountains in beautiful Glenlyon. It's semi-detached from our own house with its own entrance. Beautiful, interesting interior with thousands of books. Central heating and wood burning stove. Original range in kitchen, two double bedrooms with a double bed each, both with an extra single bed. There's a fully-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge. Overlooking a bird feeding area with frequent visits from red squirrels.

The Owl House at Gardeners Cottage (dog friendly)

The Owl House is a cosy retreat, five minutes from historic Fortingall. This former outbuilding has been lovingly renovated and commands beautiful views over the glen. At night, add some logs to the wood-burning stove, sit back, and enjoy listening to the owls hooting. Glen Lyon, Ben Lawers, Schiehallion, Aberfeldy, Drummond Hill and Loch Tay are just a stones throw away. Well-behaved dogs welcome (please note that we do not allow cats). A very comfortable, beautifully appointed Shepards hut with the most stunning views over the Tay valley. An ideal location to relax, reconnect and explore the magic of Perthshire. We are lucky enough to have ancient woodlands for you to explore, full of incredible wildlife, we also have a wild swimming pond for those looking for a cold water fix - look us up under cotwild The Shepards hut sleeps 2 adults & 2 children under 12yrs on a sofa bed sleeping bag. 2 well behaved dogs welcome.

There is a spacious super kingsize (or twin) bedroom, spectacular living space, modern kitchen & shower room, private entrance, parking & outside seating area. Note location of the house as detailed in 'house rules' (4wd recommended for winter)

St Fillans is a picturesque village and provides a great base for exploring rural Perthshire including 43 local Munro’s. Situated on the grounds of a working sheep farm, guests can enjoy the quiet atmosphere. In this walking hotspot there is also ample other activities such as cycling, fishing, golf and water sports on loch Earn.

Welcome to our Cabin on the Loch. Our custom built cabin on stilts over the pristine Loch Venachar. Situated in the heart of the Trossachs, not far from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. It is a totally private secret escape. This is truly a place to relax and to get away from it all. Just sit on the deck, or take a stroll along the banks of the Loch. The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).

Situated approx 8 miles north of Blair Atholl with veiws to the Cairngorms, Dall Bothy provides a unique off grid, back to nature get away with a few luxuries thrown in. A bespoke cabin standing on the banks of the river Garry sleeps upto 4. Relax in our wood fired whisky barrel hot tub. A wood burning stove keeps things cosy on chilly nights & a well equipped kitchenette with 2 ring stove. Private wc.

The Bridge House, Unique 2 bedroom home on bridge!

If your looking for something a little different then The Bridge House might be just for you! My unusual 2 bedroom home was built on a bridge spanning the River Ardle in 1881. Charming original features including stone spiral stairs, traditional Scottish timber clad walls, stone/pine flooring and even a privy directly over the river below! Recently renovated. Quiet, peaceful and rural location. Pretty views from every window. Sauna. Category A listed.
