Hazelnut Yurt, two miles from Loch Ken, GallowayGet away from it all at Hazelnut Yurt, located in beautiful rural Galloway, just 10 minutes from Loch Ken. The yurt sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 kids and is set in a really special wee spot on our ten acre smallholding – completely secluded, it’s nestled amongst the hazelnut trees, by a stream, with just the birds for neighbours. Outside, you can enjoy a fire by the water or a sundowner on the outdoor seating. A picture window and woodburner mean you can enjoy the setting, no matter the weather.

Cosy CottageThe Old Post Office is a cosy little cottage on the High street of Scotland's smallest Royal Burgh. It was built in 1835 and was one of the many homes the local Post office has enjoyed over the centuries. There are steps up to the entrance and the staircase is quite steep and narrow so not suitable for all. The bedroom and bathroom are snug with low ceilings. The kitchen diner has a log burner for keeping the cottage toastie.
