This beautifully renovated home sits on 5.5 acres with an acre pond. Conveniently located near I-55 & I-12 and about 5 min. from S.L.U. & downtown Hammond. Harper's Haven is about 30 min from Baton Rouge & about 45 minutes from downtown New Orleans. Sleeps 6, offering a King size bed, & 2 Queen beds. The kitchen is fully equipped including a Keurig. There is also a laundry room with a washer/dryer & utility sink. Enjoy grilling or relaxing on the patio, or fishing and kayaking in the pond.

It is located on the back of our property and borders the woods. The deck is a great place to relax and enjoy the mesmerizing splash of the fountain in our stocked pond. We offer catch and release fishing, or you can enjoy a stroll on our short nature trail that winds through the woods. We welcome you to our little slice of heaven.

We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located on Bayou Manchac on a gated 6 acre estate. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!
