Curl up with Netflix in front of the log fire, or head around the corner for a traditional ale in the old village pub. If you are feeling more adventurous, Incredible Dartmoor is on your doorstep. Drive out to see the rugged tors and the famous moorland ponies, and don't forget to stop for a traditional Devonshire cream tea!

Self contained accommodation close to Dartmoor

Hartford Dairy is an annex next to our home. It is a cosy one bedroom, self contained space providing great accommodation for a couple or single traveller with its own parking space for one car. We are conveniently situated close to Dartmoor for beautiful scenery and walks and also within easy access to the coast, Exeter, Plymouth and Torbay. A village pub and Post Office/store are within walking distance. Our nearest town is Bovey Tracey and Ashburton is also an approximate 10 minute drive.

The Annex at Waterfield House in South Devon

The Annex at Waterfield House is a beautiful, light, spacious get away. The bedroom has bifold doors opening to a balcony with views over the Rive Teign estuary down to Shaldon and Teignmouth. The en-suite has a shower and separate bath and there is even a dressing room. Downstairs the entrance opens into the atrium, again with bifold doors opening onto the decking and garden, a lovely spot to enjoy the pastries for breakfast. Loungers are supplied for those lazy moments. Ample parking.

Situated in the village of Trusham, a central spot for the beaches & Moors. The Barn is a beautiful 2 bed accommodation with upside down living in a quiet rural village with exceptional views over the valley. There are many walks to enjoy in the surrounding countryside, then to relax & finish the day off on the balcony watching the sun go down. It is a 5 minute walk to The Cridford Inn, 8 miles to Exeter, 10 miles from the stunning South Devon Coast and 3 miles from Dartmoor National Park.

The property has a roof top Hot Tub that seats 7 with panoramic views towards Dartmoor National Park. The Garden area has a large patio with outside table 10 people. Unwind at this Devonshire farmhouse, surrounded by the moors. Take an early morning stroll, then head back for a morning coffee to enjoy the elevated views of Dartmoor. Although secluded with a feeling of remoteness, the picturesque village of Widecombe, with its well-known pub is only a five-minute drive away . The listed farmhouse dates back to 1750 and has been lovingly restored in a charming contemporary-chic style, providing a cosy and comfortable interior.

This lovely self contained wooden chalet (The Roadhouse) is set in a quiet rural location near Bovey Tracey with stunning views over the fields to Dartmoor. Surrounded by 100 acres of nature reserve, home to many rare species, a nature lovers paradise. There are some great pubs nearby, Exeter is 20 minutes, 10 miles to the sea and close to Dartmoor, Ashburton and Newton Abbot. Heated by a woodburner. Very cosy. I'm afraid we don't take children under 13.
