The Mill

Grade II listed former brewery mill with a southfacing private courtyard garden. Rate is for 3 rooms - two doubles and a single (5 guests) - not all four rooms (up to 7). Please contact us if you would also like to book the master room with ensuite and we will confirm a rate. NB: This bathroom is shared by the 3 rooms not ensuite, shower is over the bath. Inside it boasts a quirky layout with log burner,beams and a stone stairwell to the large kitchen. Enjoy the paddock to the front and seating terrace to the rear looking over the brook.

Quiet village getaway 20 mins from Alton Towers

This property was the old parish room which we have sympathetically given a make over. Lots of original features have been untouched. The photos do not do this property justice with its double height ceilings and huge log burner. A real hidden gem tucked away but close to everything. A great stay for those wanting a quiet couple of days or the thrills of Alton towers. Please note the sofabed is for under 15’ If you have 2 small children that don't mind sharing then we don't mind. We are located close to the Peak District, with Chatsworth House not far away. It is surrounded by Oakerthrope Nature Reserve and is perfect for those wanting to explore Derbyshire. We live next door and there are friendly cats and a dog that live on the property. *please note Hot Tub needs to be booked BY THE GUEST DIRECTLY with ‘Midland Hot Tub Hire’ for price, to arrive at the property the day before arrival to be filled and heated by host. EV charger available payable to owners please.
