Balloon View

The Balloon Loft is set on the Welsh Border with stunning views of the Shropshire hills. The map shows the accommodation to be in Montgomery but it is about two miles from Bishops Castle. The Long Mynd, The Stiperstones and Offas Dyke path are all within 20 minutes drive of the loft and all offer wonderful views of Shropshire & Powys - perfect for a walking holiday. The accommodation is very rural but easily accessible and apart from the sheep or cattle the area is quiet and peaceful.

Hollybush Cottage is full of character with a garden and stream. It is surrounded by woodland and is 100m from Offa’s Dyke path with access to miles of beautiful walks, ideal for anyone wanting to explore Shropshire and mid Wales. It Sleeps 4, there is a kingsize bed and two singles in the second bedroom. Recently refurbished throughout with a new fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Our holiday apartment occupies the top floor of the Old Vicarage, a grade 2 listed Georgian house with much older roots, located directly behind the church of St John the Baptist in the heart of the historic market town of Bishops Castle. From its lofty location guests can enjoy far reaching views over the town and hills beyond. Only a few steps to the nearest pub, shops, eateries and with immediate access to the Shropshire Way and many other walking and cycling routes.
