The Bakoni Hide-Away, Schoemanskloof

The Bakoni Hide-Away is an off-the-grid retreat, ideal for a romantic getaway for lovers of the African bush. Unfenced, it is set on a remote spot on the side of a mountain with abundant birdlife, buck and other game around. The design was inspired by the many stone circles that occur in this region and the Bakoni people who are believed to have roamed the area in the past. It is ideal for couples and 2 older children can be accommodated on the mezzanine floor if privacy is not a requirement.

Take it easy at this unique, tranquil off-grid getaway. The secluded and private Stone Cottage is nestled among lush indigenous trees and next to an irrigation canal. Thatched and built from stone, the cottage offers stunning views into a verdant garden and over a farm dam. Everything on the property, from the food we grow to how we live, and generate electricity, is based on being environmentally sustainable. South Africa's leading lithography studio, The Artists' Press, is also located here.

Rooibos Lux Bush Cottage (SOLAR) Hoedspruit Kruger

SOLAR, no load shedding or power outages. During load shedding, all lights work, Wifi, ceiling fan and fridge, the stove is gas & the geyser is gas. Washed with the warmth and colour of the afternoon sun and in true African style, this luxury self catering cottage over looks your own private pool and the amazing bushveld. Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate is situated in the small quaint town of Hoedspruit in Limpopo South Africa. PLEASE NOTE - NO PARTIES or music is allowed on the Wildlife Estate.

The Two Wild Olives-Shumba Self-Catering Unit

Shumba is an "African feel" garden cottage that is ideal for a family. It is a two bedroom, two bathroom(ensuite bathrooms) with a fully equipped kitchen and a small lounge. (It can accommodate 6 people :4 adults and 2 children) Bed Set-up: 2 x Kings OR 1 King + 2 singles OR 4 x singles(bedroom) + 2 x Single sleeper couches in lounge *Only 1 parking bay per unit. We are ideally situated 6km from Pilanesberg National Park and are only a 20km away from Sun City Casino and Entertainment Center.

The Rock House -

The Rock House is a magical cottage built from rock and wood and rests on the banks of a seasonal dam. Abundant bird life viewing from your veranda, and bathing under the stars all make this a really special place to visit with family and friends. Double volume with 2 x bedrooms upstairs. Cosy and warm in Winter. Self catering. Walking, MTB, birding, game viewing. Covid 19 response, all our staff are vaccinated and guests are completely isolated. There is no contact with any other guests.

Off grid mountain cabin with endless views

The mountain cottage is a unique, remote and romantic place to disconnect, enjoy spectacular sunsets followed by an evening of star gazing. High up in the Waterberg mountains this eco cottage operates on solar power and relies on rain water harvesting, whilst battery operated lamps are provided for light. The cottage is best reached by 4x4 or high clearance vehicle; alternatively arrange for us to fetch you at the gate to take you. Join us and switch off, very limited connectivity only.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is an ideal escape from city life. Located in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, it has the attraction of being close to the restaurants and shops of Hoedspruit whilst providing access to the Greater Kruger & the Blyde River Canyon. The cottage is available to rent for short term stays of 2-14 nights for up to 4 adults on an exclusive basis. If you are a larger family please contact me to see if arrangements can be made. Cottage has solar and battery backup power.

Suited for MTBiking, walkers, trial runners and birders.

Log Cottage.

The lodge nestles in an evergreen forest. It gives a feeling of anticipation for fairies and other woodland creatures to welcome you. The forest gives complete privacy. It's a place where visitors can feel at one with nature. Bird parties visit and samango monkeys forage in the trees. The Log Cottage sleeps four guests. There are short walks along the mountain stream and you can see picturesque waterfalls

Delagoa Cottage Dullstroom

Self catering 3 bedroom , 2 bath cottage for 5 situated in secure and scenic Critchley Complex. Open plan lounge, dining and kitchen. Fireplace, 2 TV's with full DStv bouquet and outside weber braai. No pets and no children under 13. Keys can be collected at Harrie's Pancakes before 17:00. For late arrivals alternative arrangements must be made.

Wild Forest Inn

The quaint secluded single self-catering cottage is constructed in an open plan configuration (room / kitchenette, closed bathroom and loft floor) with a thatch and tile roof. It has a rustic ambiance providing cozy accommodation for a couple or a family of 4 (ideally 2 adults and 2 children), maximum 4 people sharing.
