The Bothy is located in Errogie by the banks of Loch Mhor. It has private parking, an enclosed garden, cosy livingroom with wood burner and 2 bedrooms. Loch Mhor is a 5 minute walk away. There are many trails and wooded areas to go walking. Loch Ness and Foyers is a 10 minute drive. Visit the Loch Ness exhibition centre and Urquhart Castle. Fort Augustus is 13 miles away and offers spectacular views down Loch Ness. Inverness is 20 miles away and offers a variety of shops and restaurants.

Carnoch Cottage is nestled within the picturesque area of Stratherrick, close by to the fabled Loch Ness. It boasts views of Loch Mhor and the Monadhliath Mountains which can be enjoyed from the comforts of the sofa and woodburning stove if the temperamental Scottish weather is up to its old tricks! Steeped in history the local area offers numerous opportunities to delve into Scotland's past by visiting such sites as Culloden Moor, Clava Cairns and the many castles and brochs.

Urquhart Bay Barn

Urquhart Bay Barn, situated at the Urquhart Bay Viewpoint, is a charming and spacious self-catering renovation, with two bedrooms (one can be either two single beds or a king size bed), completed to a very high standard, with stunning views across Loch Ness and Glen Urquhart from the dining area window and gardens. We are just a few minutes walk from the iconic Urquhart Castle. The Barn itself is built with stone taken from Urquhart Castle in the late 1800s.

Unlike many Loch Ness cottages, we are not on a road, just the garden between us and the Loch. The Pavilion is a Luxurious Self Catered Wing of Foulis Castle just out of Evanton near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. The Pavilion is positioned within beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the Cromarty Firth. Foulis Castle is a 15-20 min walk away from the Storehouse of Foulis Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm).
