Enjoy a cup of coffee on the screened in porch while listening to loons watching hummingbirds and fireflies. And breathe!

The views are surreal! With over a 200 degree view, sitting on the couch seems like sitting over the top of the water. Located on a small protected bay, also home to two yacht clubs, you'll see boaters of all kinds. The fishing is fabulous right from the dock. Located on a quiet private road, you'll be walking distance a from restaurants, an ice cream shop, shopping, banking, the local library, and even a small winery! There is deep water dockage if you plan to bring a boat.

Beautiful Lake Home in South Eastern Ontario

Our house is a wonderful place to enjoy being on a lake. You will be staying in our home where we live with our cat when we do not have airbnb guests. When we have guests, we live in a tiny house in the backyard and are available if needed. There is no landline but cell phone service is good. Internet is sometimes slow. It is not a good fit for large groups who are noisy or families with very energetic children because we have close neighbours who enjoy peace and quiet.

This convenient location is only a 10 minute drive to the main part of Kemptville and 30 minutes from Ottawa. Winter activities include snowmobiling, snowshoeing trails, cross country skiing, and ice fishing. Summer activities include boating, swimming, hiking trails, canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, horseback riding, and ATV trails at your doorstep.
