With secure, off road parking, it is the perfect base for visiting the local area and for visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh which are both less than an hour by car or train . 16 Church Street is a renovated 1 bedroom cottage with open plan living/kitchen area. Literally a moment's walk from the scenic town centre of Moffat with local shops, pubs, restaurants & other amenities. The cottage is next to a river walk & the town, is surrounded by stunning scenery; perfect for avid hillwalkers. Only 5 minutes off the motorway (1.5 hr from Edinburgh,1 hr from Glasgow & 45mins from Carlisle) it's a perfect en route stopover but even better for a week! Welcome!

The Bothy is ideally located just 4 minutes drive from junction 15 of the A74(M). It is in large gardens surrounded by woodland and farmland. There is free parking beside the cottage. The porch has plenty of room for hiking boots, coats and dog leads and seating to relax and watch the rabbits. The two bedrooms have excellent mattresses and thick toppers for a good nights sleep. One bedroom has a wide desk that can also be used as a dressing table. The other has a 3 seat sofa.

Occasionally you can see deer in the open fields. It’s a perfect sanctuary to hideaway or for the more adventurous traveller to explore Scotland major cities Glasgow and Edinburgh.
