Welcome to River Rail Retreats Deluxe Brown Cabin (formerly The Nest at Palisades) Down a private lane, nestled amidst 5 acres of woods, you'll find 3 Cabins available to rent. The Property & Cabins have undergone New Ownership and extensive remodeling, with brand new furnishings, appliances, & decorations. While located in a country setting, you are still close to Downtown Savanna, Mississippi River, & Palisades State Park. This is a perfect retreat for a blend of tranquility and rustic charm.

"Tiny House" Cabin at Spring Lake Campground

The excitement of camping with all the comforts! Outdoor grilling area with picnic table, queen size bed in the loft, 2 recliners & TV/dvd, AC/heat, sink, microwave & mini fridge. Kitchen service for 2, basic cooking essentials, towels & bedding. Well kept private port-a-john outside cabin & outdoor shower is close by at north end of store (no toilet inside cabin) Bring bikes to ride the “Great River Trail”. Camp store & kayak/canoe rentals (through Oct 1st) on site! No pets No smoking please.

GOOSE ISLAND CABIN -Secluded Riverside Eco-Retreat

Nestled along the banks of the Rock River under tall oaks, ye ol cabin was built by early settlers in 1907. Legit rustic charm. Secluded yet only 10 mins from the fun town of Oregon. 100 acres of private property, bordering Lowden-Miller State Forest. Includes use of canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, deck, porch and firewood. $33/night per person or pet after first 2 people. Message Tim about accomodating larger groups and events. Closed for winter November through March.

Doe Meadow, a tiny house farm stay

Doe Meadow is my newest custom designed tiny house nestled along the drive to my family farm. Sharing my little slice of heaven with guests is something I have found great joy in. Rural tourism is my passion, & all the farm animals are anxiously awaiting your visit- treats in tow- of course! Located just a half mile from town, but secluded enough to be a private hilltop house retreat. The deck overlooks downtown with a backdrop of the Mississippi River! Enjoy the outdoors hiking at the Palisades State Park with miles of trails just a short drive away, kayak or fish one of the many rivers or lakes, stroll through downtown for antique and gift shopping, or visit a nearby winery. After a day of adventures, relax in the spa tub or enjoy a glass of wine on the private deck.

Custom Floating Suite-HOT TUB!

Enjoy a stay directly on the backwaters of the Mississippi River. This custom cabin is floating right on the water, and you won't find anything like it! Grab your loved one or friend and surround yourself in nature, while soaking in the hot tub on the floating patio, or in the beautiful tub inside. Relax in the king size bed thats in front of one of the two fireplaces. The cabin has everything you need, including a small kitchen. This floating oasis is located at Millennium Marina.

Galena Country Getaway

Brick walkway leads to the cedar deck with Adirondack chairs overlooking the large backyard. Enjoy dinner out on the deck and roast marshmallows over a bonfire at the firepit. The dark sky provides excellent stargazing. Kitchen features full-sized refrigerator, cooking utensils and a variety of spices. Spacious bathroom with a waterfall-style shower. Carpeted loft includes a sleep number queen sized bed and two twin beds. Close to Historic Galena & Apple Canyon State Park

Walking distance to downtown Sterling but settled in a quiet residential block this unique 1 bedroom apartment has everything for a quick stay to a long work visit. All in one washer dryer, Electric Range, Full Size Fridge and plenty of cabinet space compliment the Kitchen. Spacious Living Room with Daybed for an extra guest or seating and vintage pocket doors separating the bedroom outfitted with King Bed are just a few of the unique features of this ground floor unit.
