In a quiet neighbourhood that runs along the shore of the river, this sunny, cottage style house was built in the 1800's. It's a cozy 3 bedroom with a generous side garden on a tree lined street within easy walking distance to the shops + restaurants of downtown Almonte as well as biking and walking trails. It's been lovingly renovated and furnished with loads of antique finds that make for an authentic + homey feel. 30 minutes to Ottawa, 2.5 hours to Montreal, 4 hours to Toronto.

Welcome to the historical Perth area. We hope you will enjoy your stay at our rural setting, close to amenities but surrounded by the sounds of the countryside. Our house has all the comforts of home with beautiful open vistas visible out each window. This property was deeded to the Motherwell family following the War of 1812, staying in their family name 100 years. The interior of the house is fully renovated with some exterior projects ongoing. HST included in our pricing.

The entire front of the house is windows, looking out at the river and boasts a very well appointed kitchen, sauna and hot tub. This is a perfect getaway for up to 6 people. In the summer you can fish and swim right off the end of the dock on the property. In the winter go from the fire pit to the sauna to the hot tub and if you’re really brave, cold plunge in the river! A true spa-like feel.

This "rustic chic" home has been designed with your every comfort in mind. There will be no "roughing it" in this rural cottage, nestled in the beautiful Lanark Highlands. North Sky is a perfect getaway for everyone. In winter, we are close to the Snow Road snowmobile trails. In late winter, early spring - we are right in the middle of Maple Syrup country! Welcome to Clyde Lane Retreat. This charming 3 bedroom cottage is the perfect spot to recharge and relax. Conveniently located 25 minutes from Perth and 25 minutes from Calabogie. The cottage features a one of a kind wood fired sauna and hot tub which is enclosed in a building. The river is 10 feet deep in front of the cottage and weed free perfect for swimming, fishing and canoeing. You can go for kilometres in several different directions on the river.
