The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Come enjoy the best of both worlds: our 2-story garden cottage is tucked within Seattle’s quiet and lovely Madrona neighborhood, graced by evergreens & a view of Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountains to the east. Yet it’s less than 2 miles west of downtown & 1.5 miles from the vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood, both easily accessible by 2 bus lines. **Please note that the alternate tread stairs are not appropriate for children, animals, or people with reduced mobility.**

Your journey to serenity is a lovely 5-to-8-minute walk down a historic hillside to the secluded community of Sunrise Beach. Walking down the private driveway you may see a family of deer on your left when you pass the Historical Marker.
