The house is tastefully and simply decorated to be comfortable and inviting. This is a private home so there may be limited closet or drawer space. There is a laundry room that has a clothing rack for guest use. There is a workout facility half a block away, a variety of places to eat within walking distance as well as downtown shopping, parks and if needed a walk in clinic. As a reminder: the house is a smoke free environment. If you choose to smoke outdoors please be mindful of debris.

Our ranch is close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Medora, Medora Musical, Maah Daah Hey trail and restaurants. We offer a different experience than you will get it Medora. The ranch is a peaceful retreat while being an easy 8 mile drive from town. Guests routinely tell us the ranch rivals the national park for scenery and its right out their door. Lone Butte Ranch-Horseshoe Cabin

The Horseshoe Cabin was built in 2001. This log cabin is one of 3 cabins located on our working cattle ranch. We are located in the heart of the Badlands, only 14 miles south of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Unit, and 65 miles north of the TRNP South Unit. We have miles of hiking trails or riding trails if you prefer to bring your horses. This secluded cabin has it's own private hot tub and all your modern amenities but still has that rustic feel.
