Relax on the deck or under the palm after a busy day at the beach or exploring all that Lakes has to offer. The perfect place to switch off - in your home away from home. We have everything you need.

Abalone Guest Accommodation - quiet & private

The unit is a renovated wing of our home with a private entrance, lounge/dining, 2 carpeted bedrooms with a Q bed & 2 K singles, toilet & bathroom & very well-equipped kitchenette. It is quiet, fully self-contained and private. We only accommodate 4 people and are located 3k away from the town centre. Our accommodation is not a party house. We do not accommodate children under 12 including babies or dogs. STRICTLY NO COOKING CRABS OR GUTTING/CLEANING OF FISH IN THE HOUSE.

Our peaceful property is a quaint self contained unit which is separate from the main house and has bush views. Please note that we have recently changed our house rules and for safety and suitability reasons we no longer accept bookings with children. We also cannot accommodate pets. Please note that WiFi connection is poor inside the unit but ok on covered deck. No charging of EV permitted but there are two stations in town that we can ferry you too if we are available.

The cottage is located in Marine Parade behind an art gallery, everything is in walking distance, with space to park your car and boats. (A mooring on the adjacent jetty is available for additional fee). Across the road from the property is the beautiful Gippsland lake, ready for you to put the boat in and explore.

We hope you love our place, which has a beautiful rural environment that gives easy access to forest tracks, lakes, and beaches. Our 2-bedroom accommodation is in a tranquil rural location, five kilometers from Lakes Entrance. Across the road is Colquhoun Forest, with excellent walking and cycling tracks. A private wing of an established mud brick home, you'll particularly enjoy the charming courtyard and front area that gets the morning sun.

Bring the whole extended family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Set up for 10 this property is big enough to host 2 or more families. Set in a quiet rural Court just 5 minutes drive from town and the 90 mile surf patrolled beach. 1 acre property with plenty of room for the boat and the kids! Outdoor entertaining area with built in fireplace and a salt water pool will ensure plenty of outdoor entertaining over the holidays.

Private unit, quiet location, including 3 spacious bedrooms (3 queen beds, 1 double bed and futon sofabed), bathroom with bath & shower, separate toilet, kitchenette with fridge, hot plate, electric pan, microwave and basic cooking utilities. There is no indoor dining/lounge area but has lovely enclosed dining space on the front deck with a BBQ. Hosts live at the back of the property with locked access so guests have full privacy.
