Travelling to all that County Clare's west coast has to offer is easily done from our location. A few miles away, you can walk the longest sand beaches in Ireland, marvel at the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, take a ferry to the rugged Aran Islands or play golf at Lahinch Championship golf course.

Nestled alongside one of Ireland’s most iconic landmarks, Doonagore Castle Cottage has been painstakingly renovated by the castle’s owners, merging authentic 300-year-old features with modern amenities, to offer guests a unique vacation experience. This is a self contained apartment, tastefully decorated, on the ground floor, with your own private entrance. There is a double bed, kitchen, dining and living room, and bathroom. With your own private patio with panoramic views. The apartment is newly renovated to the highest standard, with gas heating and a solid fuel stove. It was just finished in March 2022, and we are very happy with how it turned out. We have put together a guest food hamper which we hope you will enjoy.
