Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

From here you can enjoy the countryside by walking or biking, short or longer routes. Cosy comfortable cottage in a beautiful private location offering superb views of Lose hill providing a peaceful place to stay on our working farm after a good day's hiking around the Peak District. The cottage has its own private dry stone walled patio area with parking nearby. We are 1.5 miles along Edale Road from the village of Hope and 1 mile from The Cheshire Cheese Inn. With many walking routes right from the door directly onto a close by footpath adjacent to the River Noe.

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
