The Nest Maniototo

Welcome to The Nest Maniototo. Less than 200 metres from the Otago Central Rail Trail, this cozy and clean 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home (with large garden) has undergone an extensive renovation for a modern feel that enhances its character features. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay - we even welcome your fur-children. Two heat-pumps will keep you cool in summer and toasty in winter, there are books and games, and excellent wifi. Come and see why The Nest is so special!

Comfortable 3 Bedroom Home in Ranfurly

Step back in time and enjoy a stay in peaceful Ranfurly and explore the wonderful Maniototo region and Rail Trail. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located place. Our holiday home has no wifi or TV, but there is a cupboard full of board games, a shed full of firewood and old bikes! Enjoy a ride on the rail trail in either direction for a pub meal. A pint and pie at the Waipiata Pub is a must do local experience. Naseby is a short 10 min drive away.

The Moorings

The Moorings is a special place to stay in Oamaru. You will never tire of the view over the harbour. The home itself is immaculate and stylishly renovated. The beds and linen are excellent quality. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. The walk down the path to the house is well worth it. The home is close to the Penguin Colony, the old part of town and Scott's Brewery. Unfortunately, the house is not child-friendly. We are unable to take bookings which include young children.

This is an entire apartment with views to the Ocean. It is cosy and quiet and only 5 minutes from Oamaru but set in a beautiful rural environment. A new kitchen, a cosy loungeroom and private courtyard with barbeque and separate entrance. Tea, coffee, milk and basic supplies in the pantry, homemade bread and a sample of our own honey . Breakfast cereals provided . You will love it. A pleasant garden and views top it all off....while being handy to town.

Leven St Cottage

You will love spending time in this beautiful, historic cottage in the heart of Naseby Village. Built in 1882, the cottage has undergone a full restoration of the interior and now offers luxury accommodation. We are close to local shop, village pub, cafe, park (inc children play area), museum, information centre, tennis courts, Naseby Forest Recreation Area, swimming dam. Don't forget Naseby as a fantastic dark skies location!!

Seascape

Nestled amongst the native trees, up on sunny South hill , hides a mid-century gem. Elevated over the garden with a deck that completes the house giving prime views of the ocean and sunrise. 2 minutes down the hill to the historic precinct filled with many delights including Blue Penguins ,bakery, coffee, art galleries and breweries.The East Coast golden sand beaches are a short ten minute drive away.

The School House @ The Old Naseby School House

Yes, this is really The Old Naseby School House. This 2 bedroom house sleeps up to 7 people. A king room with ensuite, a second bedroom with 3 single beds, and the option of a double sofa bed in the lounge area. All beds have electric blankets. Full kitchen. Second bathroom with washing machine. The living area is heated by a heat pump. Outside is a verandah to BBQ & relax & enjoy the outdoor area.

Quail Cottage

Great in all weather, a cosy lounge that has a large log burner, Heat pump plus heat transfer. Brand new decking at the front and back of this home will allow you to sit back relax and smell the country air. The section has plenty of room for outdoor living while keeping an eye on the kids. Short stroll to the famous Gilchrist Store, Central Otago Rail Trail and local tavern.
