Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Unser kleines Gästehaus bietet die schönste Aussicht direkt aus dem Küchen- und Schlafzimmerfenster. Das ist es der perfekte Ort, um die Aurora zu sehen und einen entspannenden privaten Urlaub in der Arktis zu genießen. Wir wohnen mit unserem 6-jährigen Sohn und Katze nebenan. Wir sind ab ca. 16:30 Uhr und am Wochenende zu Hause. Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

Enjoy the midnight sun or the northen lights. Above all, we want you to have a very good stay. That's why we offer you free rental of bicycles, snowshoes, canoes, firewood, barbecues and kayak for those with experience. The apartment is on the first floor and has large windows. It is in the nature surrounded by the ocean, white coral beaches, islets and reefs, you can see this trough the apartment windows. Park right outsidee and indside you really have everything you might need.

Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

Cozy cabbin by the sea, under the Norten Lights

Cabbin only 26 km from Tromsø Airport, 20 km from City senter , a perfect location for watching the mythical northern lights! The Polar night lasts from about 27 November to 21 January. The sun stays below the horizon for the entire period. The midnight sun is visible from about 20 May to 22 July. Northern lights you can spot during the period from the beginning of September to the middle of April.
