Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

Kokanee Glacier will be looking at you in your 1200 square feet of living space and your 500 square feet of covered, enclosed private deck (great for kids and pets). Kootenay Lake is in your front yard as are the numerous 10,000' mountain peaks. Fully equipped kitchen and 4 piece bathroom all brand new! Three 8' sliding doors and a 12' bay window offers great light and great views! 60" TV with free WiFi and two fireplaces! Pet friendly!

A cozy and bright, completely off-grid Cottage in the Woods with wood stove, large open main level, & loft with queen bed. Facilities include outhouse, outdoor shower with instant hot water, outdoor kitchen with camp stove, BBQ & cooler, bring ice. Sauna is available for use (bring bathrobe). Cottage is completely private & separate from main house. Breakfast included M-F. Weekend breakfast, vegetarian dinner, & massage are available upon request, before arrival, at extra cost.
