The Caravan

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience in the 'Caravan', a tiny home built on the back of a 1967 International Loadstar. Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed or take a bath in the outdoor tub (May - Oct). Have a romantic getaway, or bring your family of 3 and make use of the twin futon. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

A 10-minute drive from the slopes of Red Mountain Resort, Rossland Bike Retreat is the perfect jumping-off point for your adventure in the Kootenays. Welcome! We are the Bearfoot Bungalows! Enjoy a one bedroom one bathroom cottage at the end of a quiet street 6 minutes from Castlegar. This relaxing area has a large yard with communal area. Our property borders the Selkirk Loop walking trails, is near Selkirk College and the Regional Airport. The bungalows provide a clean, comfortable stay with all the amenities including fully stocked kitchen and stylish furnishings.
