Enjoy the tranquility of Nature and easy access to the fun of the Columbia River Gorge in our cozy, rustic yurt. Located in the hills outside Mosier, OR, we offer an alternative to camping: Glamping. If you are not excited to experience using an outside john and shower, keeping the wood stove stoked or living among the creatures of the forest, this may not be your style of adventure ;) Check in is 5pm, but open to flexible scheduling if possible. In springtime see waterfalls on the Washington cliffs. Located 8 miles east of Hood River, Twin Oaks is near Mosier on scenic Hwy 30. This is in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, with nearby hiking, biking, watersports, boat ramp, & ski areas. Enjoy the numerous wineries and local microbrews in the area.

Enjoy the brand-new hot-tub and look out at the towering evergreens. Meander around the trail surrounding the property and look out for birds and deer as you stroll through the pine needles and wildflowers. Your pups are welcome and will love the fully fenced property.

You won’t forget your time in this romantic, memorable place. A large comfy 14’X16’ safari tent on a deck 4.5’ off ground to take you away from it all! Luxurious King sized bed with memory foam mattress and a leather sofa bed. NEW beautiful private outdoor bath tub. We are off grid so we provide a WOOD STOVE, firewood is available, propane heater and power station for charging your electronics. Extra guests after 2 are $20 pp. a night. Please bring bedding for extra guests.

Charming and Eclectic Historic Red House

You are invited to stay in a Klickitat County landmark, listed on both the state and federal registers of historic places. The Red House built for the ‘Horse King of the Northwest’ Charles Newell and his wife Mary in 1890, is now a distinctive vacation rental. The Red House’s three stories are furnished with art, antique/vintage finds, colored glass windows, original ornamental trim, fresh linens and comfortable beds. The house is well equipped and designed for relaxing.

Situated on ten acres of wild and rewilded vegetation, the suite enjoys mountain views and access to the river. Once a museum built to house primitive tools, it has been renovated into a cozy space which integrates original rustic building materials with new amenities and a private bathroom.
