This beautifully renovated seafront holiday house is situated between Gansbaai and De Kelders in the Overberg region of the Western Cape. Overlooking Walker Bay, the generous elevated deck allows for the best seaview and up close whale watching opportunities from August to November each year. There are two barbeque (braai ) areas, indoors and outdoors on the seaview deck. This much-loved family beach house is separated from the ocean by only a narrow strip of coastal fynbos. Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up to watch the whales from the balcony overlooking False Bay (the whales visit from Aug to Dec). The downstairs bedroom has two single beds while the upstairs room has a queen bed and a small lounge area overlooking the ocean. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and two full bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath.

Betty's Bay is well known for its unspoiled nature, mountain, fynbos, beaches, lakes and gorgeous African (jackass) penguins. The penguins are within walking distance. The famous Harold Porter Botanical gardens is 5 minutes drive away. Betty's Bay has endless hiking, surfing, angling and snorkeling opportunities. A local grocery store is about 700 metres from the house.
