You can see red squirrels, woodpeckers, pine Martin lots of birds on a daily basis.From the kitchen red squirrels and lots of other birds are 2 metres from you.Stunning river and woodland walks from the door. The location of Craig Cottage is very special just above the historic bridge and gorge. Salmon and brown trout fishing available. A real hidden gem.

The Old Merchant House, Portsoy Harbour

“The Old Merchant House” is a stunning, iconic, grade A listed property sitting immediately on the harbour front in Portsoy and is located on the Moray Firth coastal footpath and National Cycle Route 1. The property has a date stone of 1726 and was originally the home of Alexander (Laird) Brebner, a famous merchant and renowned smuggler. The house featured in the 2016 remake of the film "Whisky Galore". More recently the house featured prominently in the latest TV series of Peaky Blinders.

The Waves is a 3 bedroom family-friendly house situated in the costal town of Macduff, Aberdeenshire. It can sleep up to 5 adults comfortably or 4 adults and 2 children. The Waves is a terraced house within 5 minutes of the golf course and the beach and is an ideal home from home to enjoy with friends and family. Macduff, and the nearby town of Banff, offer bars, restaurants, shops, swimming pool, museum and heritage buildings, aquarium and 2 golf courses.

The old schoolhouse (built in 1866) has loads of character and feels remote and quiet despite being well situated just off the main Banff/Huntly road. Banff is about 5 minutes drive. The garden is large and you have full run of the whole premises during your stay. There are some lovely walks from the house.
