A peaceful, private, comfortable, ground floor guest suite in a friendly home in a fabulous location close to San Francisco and the best of the East Bay. Amenities include your own entrance, bedroom with comfortable queen bed, desk, closet, TV, bathroom, kitchenette, sitting/dining nook, washer/dryer and shared patio/yard. Your upstairs-dwelling hosts, Shira and Rumen, are a hospitable couple in their early 60s who are international musicians, cultural workers, and longtime Berkeley residents.

Sweet Suite!

Our typical guest has grandkids or children that live in our area, is in town for work or is traveling from just about anywhere in the world. Guests have said they like being close to SF at a very reasonable price. We're a family home so you can hear our family when we are in the kitchen. The Sweet Suite is behind our kitchen. Our kids have grown up doing Airbnb so they work to be as quiet as they can when guests are in the Sweet Suite. There is no doubt you will hear us at some point.
