A babbling brook runs behind the cabin; the Owl's Head Lookout trailhead is steps from the driveway, with the High Peaks just beyond. Gather at the fire pit each night, wake to the sound of running water. Fully stocked: wood stove, screened porch, firewood, games, library, full kitchen. Guests call it "food for the soul." Bessie's Cabin showcases a gorgeous view of Baxter and Hurricane Mountains (among others). Its location provides both privacy and easy access to town. Local restaurants are a short drive or there is a full kitchen if you prefer to stay in and cook yourself. Wi-fi and local television provided should you tire of the view.
