The Red Dog Chalet Couples Retreat w/ Hot Tub

Trailer access pull-thru private parking area with a beautiful lighted walking bridge that leads you to the chalet. Located in Gilbert, WV on the Hatfield and McCoy trail system. No trailering needed-Access to Rockhouse is located 2.5 miles from the house on the same Road. Enjoy evenings sitting on either of the covered attached outdoor areas, or around the fire pit relaxing in Adirondack chairs. The home has 2 full baths, master is an en-suite. Kitchen is outfitted for meal preparation. A two car attached garage is also included to lock up rides and gear! Wifi and Roku Convenient to amenities!

About 5 minutes away from Gilbert area, where trail heads start. Quiet area & cozy. With access to in ground pool. The pool is open from June 1st to September 1st. Only about 5 minutes from R D Bailey dam with picnic/play areas and visitor center with a nice view of the dam and lake. Great for boating and fishing. Close to trail 12, Mexican restaurant, grocery stores, Dollar stores, Giovanni’s, & more! Lots of hiking areas and other local parks and recreation areas.

We are only 250 yards from trail 17 of the RockhousTrail and only five minutes from the grocery store, restaurants, and gas stations in downtown Gilbert. We can leave trail permits and maps in the cabin for you so there's no need to worry about running those down. Our cabins are very well kept and clean.
