This space shares a common wall with my mosaic art studio. There are 2- sweet Aussie shepherds and 2- domestic cats on the property. Guests are welcome to eat meals on the back deck or beautiful gardens. There is a private shower, sink & composting toilet in cabin. New kitchenette recently added. It sits in a private forest full of wildlife but is only a 5-minute walk to Franklin Street and the UNC campus. Ever thought it would be fun to experience a day at a real working Christmas Tree Farm? Be our guest at the bunkhouse, a beautiful 320 sq ft tiny house full of character. Remodeled from salvaged materials on the farm, this bunkhouse features a full kitchen, bathroom with roomy bedroom and living room. Relax on the porch or roast marshmallows by the firepit. You can take a stroll through the Christmas trees, by the pond and in the spring and summer, through our U-pick flower patch.

"Forest Garden" A One Bedroom Retreat

A 600 s.f. cottage retreat designed by Robert Phillips. One bedroom, full bath and kitchen, and spacious living room. Ten ft. ceilings and fine architectural details; terraced; fountains nestled in a tree grove on 10 acres with foot paths. 15-20 minutes to Chapel Hill/Carrboro, University of North Carolina; Pittsboro and the Saxapahaw arts community on the Haw River. Rustic Cabin on a Working Farm in Durham

Come get away from it all—while conveniently close to everything—at Laurel Branch Gardens, a 12-acre farm that uses organic growing practices. About 100 yards from the farm house, the cabin is a renovated tobacco barn with a sleeping loft, full kitchen, bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet), and living area. Meet the pigs and chickens. Lay in the hammock. Listen to bird calls. During June and July u-pick blueberries will be available for harvest for $3.50/lbs.
